The marchers left Seraghat at 8am after the usual singing of the Tibetan and Indian national anthems. They walked 19 kilometers to Banspatan. They were in high spirits today as the marchers were all excited to be marching again. There was no interference on the part of the police.

The March was joined by 8 new marchers today, who traveled from Kathmandu, Nepal, to participate.

In the evening, the marchers watched the documentary “The Shadow Circus: The CIA in Tibet” with commentary provided by the producer and director, Tenzing Sonam.

Every Tibetan in the world should march to Tibet. The Chinese can’t kill everyone. They can’t imprison everyone. And they don’t want any embarrassment before the Olympics. Millions of Tibetans should demand full independence now. This may be the last opportunity before Tibetan culture and Tibetan people are for intensive purposes are wiped from the earth. This is the Chinese plan, a gradual dismantling of Tibetan ways, a gradual mixing of Han Chinese with Tibetan until one day, no more Tibet. Tibet is being turned into a religious Disneyland type location for tourist to come and gawk and buy imitation artifacts. Sorry Dalai Lama middle way will not work with Chinese. Chinese government did not rise to the position of power they are in right now through non-violence. Think about it. It was the exact opposite. If the world sees Tibetans being harmed, oppressed, tortured and brutalized in sheer numbers then the world will have to act. In gradual bits the world looks and then looks away.
