Leaving at 7am, the marchers quickly covered the 15 km from Chopla to Simbhali to reach their campsite at 11:30am.
The communications team stayed at the campsite to work in the home of the Chaudary family who provided a delicious lunch. When the power went out, Dr. Kala Saraswat took the communications team to their home so they could continue to work there.

I wish all the marchers a safe journey back home. I am sure and optimist that your sacrifice will inspire all Tibetan in the free world to take initiatives.
Looking forward to a day, when all Tibetan will pack their bags and head home.
Boed Gyal lo.
Special regards to all the organizers who says ” Lets do it”.
I read the news this morning. Somebody pinch me! china is ready to talk!! I’m convinced you marchers had a lot to do with that. Keep it up, we’re so close!!!
My question to all the Tibetans:
Do want INDEPENDENCE OR AUTONOMY?
My question to all the Tibetans!!
Why is Tibetan gov in exile asking for autonomy instead of independence?
Since there is every evidence and legal documents signed between British-India and Tibet government.
Autonomy, Chinese gov has already given.
Moreover, the Tibetans in Tibet want independence.
So much life has been lost for the sake of independence not autonomy…
