SUGGESTION
By solidarity with the oppressed Tibetan people as many people as possible the world over could shave their heads Bhuddist monk style.
Begin a week or ten days before the Opening in Beijing
Even the most China-friendly media could not ignore it if really large numbers (millions) were involved.
Just an idea that is COMPLETELY non violent. (no flags or tee-shirts for itchy security services to use as a pretext)
Athlete-friendly (they get their competition and the results of their years of training etc. etc..)
Could anybody get Richard Gere on board?
