The marchers who arrived in Delhi on April 9th after the month-long march to the capital, were officially welcomed by over 3500 Tibetans at Jantar Mantar. They had gathered in the capital on April 10th to mark one month of non-violent protest inside Tibet. The crowd included members of the Tibetan community in Delhi as well as Tibetans from neighboring states of Uttarakand, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. Following the reception of the marchers, prayers were offered on behalf of all the Tibetans killed under the Chinese crackdown.

Opinions of eminent world leaders were staged with face masks of the respective leaders. A mock funeral to depict and mourn the people killed under the brutal Chinese crackdown was also presented.

At 12 noon, Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche presided over a question and answer session with the press. A large number of press had gathered for the occasion. After the press conference, Prof. Rinpoche addressed the public and emphasized on the significance of non-violent action and the need for an enduring movement that goes beyond Olympics.

Prof. Rinpoche flagged off the freedom bicycle rally that started from Jantar Mantar at 1 pm and covered the whole of South Delhi. Most of the participants of the bicycle rally were students of Tibetan Children’s Village from Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh and Bylakuppe in Karnataka.

Everything the Chinese gov is doing is back firing. when they blamed Dalai Lama..all the Tibetans and the world started questioning Chinese gov..so blame somebody else..but can’t blame its own failed policies. When they suppressed the protest in Lhasa..Tibetans in Gunsu, Qinghai, Sichuah and Yunnan rose up.Result United Tibet and an Independent Tibet

China’s military provided training for Afghanistan’s Taliban militia and its al Qaeda supporters, according to a U.S. intelligence report and intelligence obtained from anti-Taliban Afghan sources. The training of the Taliban forces took place before September 11.Evidence of Chinese military backing for the Taliban continues to surface. Late last month, U.S. Army Special Forces troops discovered 30 HN-5s, the designation for Chinese-made SA-7s surface-to-air missiles, in southeastern Afghanistan. Do google “Taliban terrorist and china”
