The marchers left the Men-tse-khang branch in Ganjbar at 9:00am and covered 20 kilometers before settling in at their camp at Shiva.

At 11:30am, an informational program was held in Panipat with members of the Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) in attendance. Mr. Sanjay Bhatia, District President of BJP, Mr. Tarun Gandhi, District President of Industrial Sales, and Mr. Lobsang Yeshi, March Coordinator, were the speakers at the program.

Mr. Sanjay Bhatia kindly aided in finding a venue for the event and also provided refreshments. The event was held at Aastha Palace, and the owner, Mr. Naveen Bhatia, generously allowed the marchers to use his reception center free of cost. BJP members also welcomed the marchers with flower garlands and rose pedals. More than 15 representatives of local and national media covered the event.

The marchers spent the night at a house that is under construction at the moment. They expressed their gratitude to Mr. Kuldeep Singh, owner of the house, who graciously lent them the property.
