The marchers spent the day resting at the Men-Tse-Khang in Ganjbar, roughly 8 kilometers outside of Panipat. They did laundry, rested and had language exchange classes with the Western Support Marchers.

An early morning highlight was a visit from Tenzin Choeying, the National Coordinator of Students for a Free Tibet and one of the detained March organizers from the first group, Dickey, from Tibetan Women’s Association, and Ven. Ngawang Woebar, President of Gu-Chu-Sum Ex-Political Prisoners’ Movement. The three are en-route to Delhi to prepare for upcoming actions. In addition to their visit, the March enthusiastically welcomed the return of Lobsang Yeshi, March Coordinator, and Tenzin Tsundue, Core Marcher; both were detained along with Tenzin Choeying for 14 days in Yatri Niwas. Everyone is glad to have them along for the March to Delhi.

The March is now 98 kilometers from Delhi and plans on reaching the Indian capital by April 9th.
