The Chinese crackdown on Tibetan autonomy is backfiring as the issue of Chinese human rights’ abuses enters the world political stage. Purchasing China-free goods and a boycott of the Olympics would certainly put pressure on the repressive leadership that needs to be reigned in.

Free Tibet now. Chinese are known to be great liar. Chinese are blocking the television and cellphones and know allowing foreign reporters to come into Tibet are all signs of Tibet being strong and Chinese are scared. FREE TIBET and LONG LIVE H.H. the DALAI LAMA.

There is nothing wrong with peaceful protests. But if looting, attacking innocent people, and burning properties are involved, they must be seriously dealt with. I live in the US. There are many police shooting incidents in which the women are the victims. And I recall one of them was a woman who was just waving the vegetable peeler knife; she was also mentally ill. So, what do you think the local TAR government should do with the last riots. And what would the US government do when the Native Americans and the Mexican people want their land back?

Dalai Lama says Tibet should remain in China.
The violence by rioters against other ethnic people was far more brutal than that shown in the video. So I think the military crackdown is justified.

Tibetans, you want dialogue? You will not get it by going on a rampage killing many.

Why dont u mention yr Us governemnt after the 9/11, invasion of iraq & so on if u critise the chinese crack down. In iraq war yr reporter were in bedded with the Us army, i.e., a supporter of the invasion & then the q.bay ? It again prove of yr biased reporting.

Be a man & stand up against china & yr own tibetans.

They just use u as a front & then slave u later.

do u want to go back to serf system & be slaved by others?
What u need now is to build tibets ,properous & modern . Then talk about rights later?
